VA & military real estate in Great Falls
Five Talents Realty Group is veteran owned. VA loans are a specialty here, not a sideline. We help military households buy, settle in and decide what to do with a home when the next set of orders arrives.
A team that understands the details
Owner Seth Haak is a veteran. Jason Holmlund is, in his own bio’s words, “a husband, a father, and a proud member of the Montana Air National Guard.” Great Falls has been home for Jason since he was seven years old. His Guard installation is Great Falls Air National Guard Base at the airport, not Malmstrom.
For a VA buyer, that background matters most in the practical work: an agent who understands the appraisal rules, the entitlement math and the PCS clock. We look for property issues before you spend money on inspections, coordinate with your lender on entitlement and cash to close, and build a timeline around your report date. The VA and your lender determine loan eligibility; we help the real estate decisions fit it.
The military geography of Great Falls
Malmstrom Air Force Base sits on the east side of Great Falls. It is home to the 341st Missile Wing and its ICBM mission. That mission extends into missile fields across central Montana; an on-base commute is not the whole picture for every assignment.
Great Falls Air National Guard Base is at Great Falls International Airport, on the other side of the city. The 120th Airlift Wing is based there. A home convenient to one installation is not necessarily convenient to the other. Start with where you actually report, not simply the words “near the base” in a listing.
The rest of life happens off duty
Housing is only one part of the move. Our local guides cover utilities, schools, winter responsibilities, household costs and the differences between Great Falls neighborhoods. Use them to narrow your questions before choosing an address.
